When I search for stones, I look for ones that speak to me, that evoke something that resonates with my love of nature. This lovely cabochon of Larsonite, aka Swamp Bog Jasper (yes, really!), reminded me of a cool glade with trilliums among the dappled patches of sunshine in the cool shade.

Accented with a trillium on the corner of the focal piece, the piece also has two rich raspberry rhodolite garnet pears, resembling the nodding buds of the trillium about flower. The larsonite has a darker green patch, looking like a shadow of the trillium on the stone.

The focal measures approx. 1-3/4" wide and tall. It is finished with a rolo chain, smooth and comfortable to wear, with an extender on the end that enables you to wear it from 17" to 19-1/2".

On the reverse, I've signed and marked it sterling, and cut out a window in the shape of a trillium to the view of the back of the stone.

This is a one of a kind piece!
