*By Special Order, this piece will be made especially for you*
Behind our 1891 Victorian home, near the carriage house, is an old fashioned hydrangea. No fancy colors, just big white blossoms that start off green, then later weather to a lovely fragile pink.
The leaves of this hydrangea are wider than other hydrangeas, almost heart shaped, and have deep veining. It is from these leaves that I made a mold to make this pendant.
The leaf has been recreated in .999 fine silver, and has been accented with a beautiful cabochon of verdantly-green malachite, which echoes the beautifully detailed veining giving such texture and presence to the piece.
It has an enhancer that snaps open so it can be worn over pearls, beads, an omega, ribbon or any chain. It has been polished to bring out the depth and detail.
This leaf itself measures 1-5/8 x 1-1/4", and the pendant including bail measures about 1-7/8" long. This is a one of a kind piece.
